High School

Minors · Families · Foundations

High-school athletes are typically minors — meaning parents or guardians must be involved in reviewing and signing every NIL contract. Some states allow high-school NIL activity. Others restrict or prohibit it. Even within a single state, district policies can differ. And the rules are still evolving.

That makes early legal guidance not just useful, but essential. A first endorsement may be small in dollar terms, but the contract clauses, IP language, and disclosure requirements can have long ripples — including into future college eligibility. We work with families to make sure the foundation is built correctly the first time.

State-specific NIL eligibility review for the athlete's home state and any schools of interest
Contract review with parents and guardians — in plain English
Trademark filings for nickname, slogan, and logo
Agent pressure and predatory deal screening
Tax and business-entity foundations (often before they're needed)
College eligibility forward-planning and disclosure strategy
"A bad clause signed at 16 can echo into your senior season at 22. We make sure the first deal isn't the one that costs you the most."

College & NCAA

Collectives · Endorsements · Compliance

Since the NCAA's 2021 interim NIL policy, collegiate athletes have been able to profit from their name, image, and likeness — but the rules now stretch across state law, school policy, conference regulations, and evolving frameworks like House v. NCAA. A single misstep on disclosure or a poorly worded "pay-for-play" provision can put eligibility at risk.

At the same time, the upside is real. Collective deals, brand endorsements, IP licensing, and content partnerships can build the foundation for a career that outlasts athletic eligibility. We help collegiate athletes negotiate from a position of clarity — and structure deals so the value compounds rather than evaporates at graduation.

NIL collective and booster agreement review
Endorsement and sponsorship deal negotiation
Exclusivity and usage-rights protection
NCAA, state, and conference compliance strategy
IP licensing, trademark filings, and content rights
Loan-out and LLC business formation
"NIL compensation must be based on the value the athlete actually brings. Compliance isn't a footnote — it's how the deal stays standing."

Professional Leagues

Talent · Brand · Generational Wealth

When the professional contract arrives, NIL doesn't disappear — it multiplies. Endorsement portfolios, image rights, licensing partnerships, equity deals, and post-career brand strategy all need legal infrastructure built for decades, not seasons.

We work with professional athletes on the business side of the playbook: structuring loan-out corporations, negotiating major brand deals, advising on joint ventures and investments, and protecting the IP portfolio that becomes the through-line of an athlete's identity well past retirement.

Talent representation and major deal vetting
Tier-one brand and sponsorship negotiation
Loan-out corporation structuring
Long-term IP and licensing portfolio
Joint venture and investment counsel
Media, production, and content venture support
"The playing career is finite. The brand doesn't have to be. We build the legal architecture so the second act starts before the first one ends."

We also represent the ecosystem.
